How does “dreaming” or the idea of being a “dreamer” affect the story and the main character? (Support with at least one specific passage from the reading.)

‘Dreaming’ and the idea of being a ‘dreamer’ play a big role in this story, According to page 39, it says that he was a dreamer. Morris dreamed of being a painter. It says on page 27 that everyone said, “He’ll grow out of it.” He thought that would’ve never happened. According to page 27, Morris read, studied, and drew comics. Fortunatley, he grew out of it. In conclusion, dreaming was a huge part of this story.

In the story, Dreaming and being a dreamer is a big part in the story. On Page 27 morris says that everyone in his class was a dreamer because they wanted to be an astronemer, nuclear physicist, the buiseness tycoon and so on. Morris said tht he wasn’t a dreamer because he had a goal that could actually happen compared to his friwends in his class. Also on page39 it says that morris was now a dreamer and it says that the only thing that wa ever real to me , i had grown out of it. At first he thiught he wasn’t a dreamer and at the end of the story he realized he actually was a dreamer. He thought he could accomplish his goal without being a dreamer but after all he didn’t get the oppertunity and he called himself a dreamer. Dreaming and being a dreamer was deffinately a huge part of the story My Greatist Ambition.

“Dreaming” played a big role in the story because on page 27 Morris wants to be a comic strip artist and the other kids think he will grow out of it. Morris thought that they were all dreamers. Then he became a dreamer. I liked how the author did that because he wrote about dreaming in the beginning of the story and then at the end.

Dreaming plays a fairly big role in the story. On page 27 Morris wants to become a comic strip writer for boy magazine and others pat him on the hyead and say he’ll grow out of it. And in the end page 39 he actually became a dreamer just like everyone else.

i think ”dreaming” played an important role in the story because Morris wants to be a comic strip artist, and no one else wants to be that. They want to be something that is more macure. In order for him to want to be a comic strip artist, he has to be a dreamer. In the begging of the story, it talks about dreamers, at the end, it also talks about dreamers.

I think that dreaming played an important role in this story because in the beginningof the story Morris wanted to be a comic strip artist and he wasn’t reaching for a high goal so he thought he was going to get a job as a comic strip artist. In the end of the story after the interview he knows that you have to work hard and become a dreamer to be a comic strip artist, he needs to believe in himself for anything that you want a lot.

I think the author mean that you should always belive in what you dream in and never give up in what you belive in.
