Moon Shadow so far; lives a complex, respectful life as he followes his father’s beliefs. Windrider, Moon Shadow’s father, believed in his dream, but decided to stay with his family and continue a peaceful life on the California Coast. My favorite character is Moon Shadow, by the way the story ends; (quote: I knew there were plenty of problems still ahead of me. I had not seen my mother for something like seven years,and I knew I would have to adjust to one another. Tons of problems, and while I was not about to dismiss them as little ones, I was not afraid of them.) This quote from Dragonwings gives a strong clue that Moon Shadow and his family have many challenges awaiting for them in the close future.After the story ends, I think personally that Moon Shadow’s family will stay on the coastline, refinish their houses, and live a peace full life for a year or two. After those short two years, they may face their fears or a small tragedy. A pattern seeemed to emerge in Dragonwings, with the series of disasters, deaths, and tragedys. As for Moon Shadow, I think the worst is over.

in the story dragonwings I think black dog Is one of the more sneky out of all the family. I belive after the story ends black dog starts to loses the mening of life. I think that he would not have a life and he would die sad and painfuly
Robin is my favorite character. She is a little bossy but she still has a soft side that she hides. I would say that Robin and her auntie have a couple tragedies ahead of them. Since their house was burned down in the fire, they only have the little bit of possessions that they brought from their house, and then they went on a boat without their horse and wagon, they’re probably going to have more tragedies in their life when they get off the boat. Some tragedies I think she will have to face would be that they get beat up or something by the demons or that she hates her job and wants to go back to San Francisco and won’t have enough money. She’s going to have to have to work and she’s not really used to working. I think Robin will not be happy when she lands in Oakland.

After the story ends, I think that Moon Shadow will live a happy life with his dad Wndrider. But, I also think that in two years or so Moon Shadow and his dad will earn enough money to buy a ticket for Moon Shadows mother. Then, the mother will move over to the demon land where Moon Shadow and his father lives and some other issues will come up with the white men and their family. I know this because in the book I saw a pattern; the pattern was when Moon Shadow moved in with his father problems started to occur in his life and his fathers. I think some of the same events will take place when his mother is in the demon land.
My favorite character is Ms. Whitlaw. I believe in her future she will continue to pursue her acts of kindness and life will be simple for the most part because of her actions. My evidence from the book Dragonwings is she accepted many borders and went out of her way to be kind to Moon Shadow and his father by baking cookies for them, and most imortantly helping them ajust to living among “white demons”. I have a feeling Ms. Whitlaw will run into some troubles but not many. Some of these situations could be looking for a home( they needed to in the end of the book), I think Ms. Whitlaw will have a difficult time being able to provide money for her and Robin to live. In the future I also see Ms. Whitlaw transforming Robin into a generous person since Ms. Whitlaw is. I think at Ms. Whitlaw’s death bed Robin will start a border home in her house during the beggining of the depression. I believe this because in Dragonwings Ms. Whitlaw really shows her acts of kindness and I think soon after the book ends Robin will be influenced. This just leads to say I think Ms. Whitlaw is a strong women in what she believes is right.
Robin is my favorite charecter. I like her because of her indapendance and courage. I She and Ms.Whitelaw have been through allot but I predict that they will eventually they will prosper and have no more ill fortunes. The evedince that supports this is most clearly that they have been through allot and still have endaurance and strength.
Moon Shadow’s life is extremly difficult throughout the story the author, Laurence Yep, expresses this concept in in many ways. After the story ends i believe that Moon Shadow will end up somewhat like his dad even though they were apart in the first several years. This separation between them effected Moon Shadows life in ways that could not be turned around. But those were obsticales father and son had to face and that strength will help them through all of their adventures.
